Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. In addition to routine surgical procedures, we offer surgical services by board certified surgical specialists: Dr. Paul Cechner and Dr. Linda Larsen.
Laser Surgery: Using a state of the art CO2 Laser, we are able to perform surgeries with more precision, less pain, less bleeding and less chance of infection.
Laser Therapy: An effective alternate non-surgical therapy for arthritis, acute and chronic pain, back injuries, sprains and strains, swelling and edema, and wound healing.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture is indicated mainly for functional problems such as paralysis, noninfectious inflammation and pain. Commonly treated conditions in pets include: musculoskeletal problems, skin problems, such as lick granulomas and allergies; respiratory problems, such as feline asthma, gastrointestinal problems, such as diarrhea, and some forms of cancer.
Chiropractic: Chiropractic is indicated for many conditions: neck, back, leg and tail pain; lameness; injuries; behavioral or mood changes; other chronic disorders that do not resolve as expected.
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Stem Cell Therapy: The use of a concentrated form of autologous adipose-derived adult stem cells (fat cells from your pet) to treat traumatic and degenerative diseases in dogs. Current uses include traumatic injuries to bones and ligaments and osteoarthritis of the hip; knee, and elbow. Future uses under investigation include neurologic, heart, kidney, and immune diseases.
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
